For each product, saleable stock = slots × items/slot × feasible fills × machines × yield. Dispensed units are capped by demand during uptime and stock. If their sum exceeds the machine throughput limit, the tool allocates throughput proportionally to the stock-limited volumes. That is an explicit planning approximation, not a queue or slot optimizer.
At the default eight machine-visits in total, the fast seller has 376.32 expected units available against 638.4 active requests. The middle seller sells 319.2 and the slow seller 106.4, for 801.92 total packaged items. Reallocate slots or increase feasible visits, then compare contribution as well as units. This mix tool covers packaged goods only; the profit and cost tools handle coffee and water resources separately.

- How do sales by slot determine a vending refill schedule?
Use a completed slot inventory table to compare weekly and twice-weekly replenishment, with demand and saleable stock kept separate.
- What does a stockout cost on a high-selling slot?
Calculate unmet demand, foregone contribution and the maximum extra refill cost in a reproducible slot example.
